Lesson length, examples, vocabulary and explanations should adapt to the student’s age. The connected AI service must use this setting.
All 22 languages in India’s Eighth Schedule are included, along with additional regional languages.
The list includes a broad world-language catalogue plus additional local voices found on this device.
“All world languages” cannot be guaranteed by one fixed list: cloud catalogues and installed device voices differ. The app adds voices it detects on this device; a production cloud integration should load the provider’s current language catalogue from your backend.

Slower speech can help beginners hear word boundaries. This setting uses a local voice where one is available.
🔒Local history by default. Settings and conversations are stored in this browser’s local database. They are not uploaded by this prototype. If you connect an AI endpoint, the current conversation context will be sent to that server to generate the teacher’s answer. Do not put API keys in this HTML file.
The app requests on-device speech recognition only when the browser exposes that feature. It does not silently fall back to server-based speech recognition. Some browsers require HTTPS or localhost and a downloaded language pack.
Demo mode is active. To enable open-ended, age-adaptive lessons and accurate two-language explanations, configure a secure backend endpoint in this file. Keep provider credentials on the server.
